Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced Rough/Finish Carpenter to join our team. Qualified candidates must be reliable team players with fine attention to detail and a willingness to learn.  Daily tasks will vary from job to job from demo, to framing, and finish trim carpentry.

Responsibilities for Carpenter

  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of products, ranging from cabinets to insulation to tile to drywall.
  • Perform work in accordance with safety best practices.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Conduct building inspections and identify needed repairs.
  • Document repairs and maintain thorough records.
  • Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed.
  • Build doors, cabinets, and windows.
  • Measure and mark materials for alterations.

Qualifications for Carpenter

  • Minimum of 3 years of general carpentry experience and completion of an apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Must possess a valid and “insurable” driver’s license.
  • Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
  • Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand, air, and power tools.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities for Construction Superintendent

  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each project on time.
  • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project.
  • Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location.
  • Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site.
  • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage workloads of individual projects.
  • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organize meetings and cooperate with team members in various roles as necessary.
  • Set an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection.

Qualifications for Construction Superintendent

  • Basic knowledge of software programs, such as BuilderTrend , Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, government officials, and clients.
  • Good reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients or vendors.
  • Keen eye to identify non-compliance with regulations or standards and ability to suggest solutions for deficiencies or problems.
  • Familiarity with the operation of office equipment, such as digital cameras, computers, copiers, and telephones.
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground.
  • Experience with managing demanding clients and offering creative solutions to meet commitments and requests.
  • Capacity to physically lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Good coordination.

Construction Laborer

We are looking for an experienced Construction Laborer to join our team! As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, loading and unloading different types of equipment and ensuring that our construction sites are a safe and clean working environment in addition to many other tasks as instructed by the Superintendent.

Responsibilities for Construction Laborer

  • Implementing construction plans.
  • Operating construction equipment and machinery.
  • Handling and transporting construction materials.
  • Cleaning construction sites and obtaining a safe work environment.
  • Helping with setting up temporary structures.
  • Following instructions from supervisors.

Qualifications for Construction Laborer

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Construction Laborer.
  • Ability and experience in operating various types of machinery.
  • Experience with necessary tools and equipment.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Possessing a valid  and “insurable” driver’s license.
  • Physical strength and ability to do physical labor.
  • Good coordination.

Cage Installer

We are currently seeking a well-rounded experienced Screen Enclosure / Pool Cage Installers to join our amazing team.

Screen enclosure / pool cage Installers work primarily in both new construction developments and on homes for retail customers. The installer will meet deadlines by installing screen enclosures quickly while providing a high standard of quality that we pride ourselves in maintaining.

Responsibilities for Cage Installers

  • Manufacture and fabricate finished aluminum products.
  • Install and repair various aluminum products in commercial and residential settings.
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks.
  • Complete projects on time

Qualifications for Cage Installer

  • Must have experience installing screen enclosures or other products (3 year minimum)
  • Must be able to read and interpret a “print.”
  • Must be able to read and follow current engineering standards.
  • Must have a valid and “insurable” driver’s license.

Construction Administrator

We are looking for a Construction Administrator who will assist with the functions of purchasing, estimating and project management. Produce accurate take-offs and budgets. Purchase materials and keep costs down while meeting quality standards. Perform construction – related administrative and clerical duties.

Responsibilities for Construction Administrator

  • Track new jobs from inception to Help prepare gross margin summary sheets (at the time of starts). Update and maintain master price books/digitally.
  • Working knowledge of Buildertrend or ability and willingness to learn program and become proficient.
  • Provide backup support for entering job cost and preparing purchase orders.
  • Analyze cost of suppliers and subcontractors in conjunction with the Senior Construction
  • Check estimates against budgets for proper coding after jobs have been sent into the field.

  • Research and assist with problem billings, such as locating backup
  • Develop a computerized mailing list for all trade contractors, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Stay current on innovative products, construction techniques, and trends affecting the building industry.

  • Update the Construction Managers at weekly meetings or as needed.

Qualifications for Construction Administrator

  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience
  • Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and builder estimating software. (plus, if proficient with Buildertrend)

Must possess a valid and insurable driver’s license.
